Faith and the Workplace - Highlights

For those of you that have not been able to join our last two Adult Forums, you may find the following prayer

helpful during your business day.  Use it daily or as often as you find yourself faced with difficult challenges.

    ^God:

        ^{I surrender my will and my life to you.  By your grace, help me to reveal more}

        ^{of your amazing love as I serve you at work.  Show me the pathways that will}

        ^{better glorify you and serve the highest and greatest good of everyone within,}

        ^{and associated with, my organization.  I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ.}

        ^{Respecting diversity of background and opinion?}

        ^{Being humble and grateful when we succeed?}

        ^{Listening actively to understand others' perspectives?}

        ^{Being sensitive to the impact of my attitude demons?}

        ^{Staying well inside the ethical boundaries?}

^{At work a Christian behaves like Jesus.  Am I...}

        ^{Building people in faith, expanding their horizons of possibility?}

        ^{Setting clear strategies and plans that can be followed and adapted?}

        ^{Creating clear consequences of performance and non-performance?}

        ^{Communicating regularly, truthfully and with sensitivity?}

        ^{Helping non-performers to a new pathway with fairness and dignity?}
