"Living Our Values at Work"

We all know that Monday morning feels a lot different than Sunday morning does. Monday morning and work bring all the usual pressures to drive results, do more with less, deal with conflicts and stay employed. Most of us also feel a tension between our values and beliefs and the perceived demands of the business. We are understandably reluctant to be open about our Christian values and uncertain about what is appropriate in demonstrating personal values. Often, we fail to live up to our own values in business situations causing angst and self-doubt. You are not alone. To address these issues, we have invited Dr. Stephen Payne from A New Equilibrium to join us again.

 

Dr. Payne will help us paint a vision of what the workplace could be with us living out our faith. He will share with us some specific tools and approaches for successfully integrating our faith and values into our own workplaces. Everyone who attends will come away with at least one new strategy to live a more spiritual and powerful work life. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend these special Adult Forums starting Sunday, January 17.
