Discovery Canyon was a huge
success and an exciting week for all. There were 77 students participating in
the
adventurous week by crafting away in Cavern Crafts, running, jumping and playing
in Gully Games, singing a set
of new tunes that Rock, and hearing the good news echoing off the canyon walls.
The morning started at 9:30
in the Great Room learning new songs, listening to stories, and sharing the
enthusiasm of the good news. After
the opening, the students participated in a number of activities: 2 classroom
periods, recreation, arts and crafts,
snack and lots of music. The week ended with a Closing Program where siblings,
parents, and friends were invited
to experience the fun we had through music. Each class performed a song they
learned during the week.
Following the program, a light lunch was enjoyed by all. Through generous
donations from parents, our free will
offering was used toward items needed for “Containers for Christ”.
Christian Education would like to extend a Big Thank You to the all volunteers

great success. Music, Opening and Closing: Pastor Summer and Louise Brokaw;
