Good News Home for Women
Good News Home for Women is a residential rehabilitation center that offers long-term care for women overcoming alcohol and drug abuse. The home provides a non-denominational, but spiritually focused program intended to heal mind, body, and spirit. It was founded in 1983 as a Christian non-profit organization with a philosophy that “faith in God can do for us that we cannot do for ourselves”. Their services are available to women age 18 and older, without regard to race, religion, nationality, or ability to pay. To continue to provide refuge and rehabilitation for women in need and to support future plans for growth, Good News Home for Women reached out to the faith based community for donations. Zion answered the call and now offers yearly monetary support to help Good News Home for Women continue their work to “mend shattered lives”.
